September 24th, 2010 by

We’re all the rage over at Kongregate (featured on the front page) and Newgrounds (best game of the day), and the game has spread to hundreds of other portals.

The hundreds of comments are also wonderfully positive, and we have gotten much love from all around the world! Thanks, it feels great!

The game has been played well over 100 000 times already after 3 days! Will we hit one million?

Also, stay tuned for more info on the Xbox version, trailer coming soon!

Don’t ask why. Ask why not.

September 21st, 2010 by

Hey folks!

As announced the Garden Gnome Carnage hype-machine will kick in this week, and what better way to do it than to actually give you the game?

That makes no sense at all!

Well it kinda makes sense. Below you’ll find the FLASH version of Garden Gnome Carnage. We have been developing the two versions side by side. They are quite similar, but the XBOX version obviously have beefed up graphics, and you ge to play it in the comfort of your couch!

So while you’re trying to break our online highscore on the flash version, we’ll get cracking on getting the Xbox-version out. Hopefully there will also be a trailer soon!

Interest in our Steam / Unity integration

September 20th, 2010 by

The last week or so we have received interest from alot of different parties for our tech behind integrating the Steamworks API with Unity 3D. It’s not exactly trivial to marry the two, so it’s no wonder alot of devs out there has shown interest.

We have taken a look at the current state of the code – and while we haven’t implemented all features of the API (We currently have Achievements, Leaderboards and Cloud support) what is there is good, and adding another facet of the API is pretty easy. So we feel that it is in a very releasable state!

On top of that, we figured we’d give future updates for free (we are planning on extending it for our current project too)!

If you’re interested, email me and we’ll talk more about it!

Update: Our tech works with all .Net based environments, not just Unity. It also works with XNA for example!
